One person is dead, and an investigation continues after a deadly multi-car accident in Saticoy, on Monday, September 8. According to local news reports, California Highway Patrol responded to an accident in the area of Wells Road, west of Vineyard Avenue (known as the 118), just before 6:00 a.m. Initial reports indicate that a gray Honda Accord and a silver Chevrolet were involved in the accident, and that the Honda had sustained “major damage.” Although first responders attempted to give two people CPR at the scene of the accident, one of the victims involved in the accident died. It is unclear whether the victim died at the scene of the accident, or at a hospital. The names of those involved in the fatal accident have not been identified, pending notice to family members. The case is ongoing, and it remains to be seen whether there will be any criminal charges filed against anyone involved.
